Dave started Key Construction with his brother, Ken and has guided their growth to becoming an Engineering News Record "Top 400" contractor. He holds a degree from Wichita State University in Business Administration. Dave is very active in the Wichita community including his involvement with Wagonmasters, the American Heart Association (board member), Wichita/Sedgwick County Arts and Humanities Council, East YMCA (board member), Downtown Rotary Club, guest speaker to the Wichita State Entrepreneur forum, and Wichita Chamber of Commerce.
As the President of Key Construction Inc. Dave has provided the guidance and inspiration required to project Key into a leader within the construction industry. He was instrumental in forming valuable partnerships in such projects as Eaton Place, The Hotel at Old Town, and New Market Square to name a few. Key Construction Inc. is licensed in over thirty states across the U.S. and maintains relationships with such national firms as: Kohl's Department Store, Albertsons, OfficeMax, Home Depot, PETsMART, Office Depot, Marshall's, Carlos O'Kelly's, IHOP, Walgreen's and United Wholesale Grocers. Key employs an "open office" concept designed to stimulate communication and teamwork.
