Military Salute and Concert September 30, 2011

The WaterWalk Military Salute recognized military members and raised awareness of the Central Prairie Honor Flight program last Friday, September 30th.  We had a great turn out and appreciate all the veterans that showed up and their families and of course the support from the public.  Honor Flights is a program begun in 2005 to send our World War II Veterans to Washington D.C., to see the memorials dedicated to them.  For more information visit Central Prairie Honor Flights, or check out WaterWalk on facebook to see the video of the story KAKE did on the Honor Flights.
